Nancy Reynolds

Nancy, founder and head coach of Portland Fencing Center since 1998, has over 40 years of experience in fencing as a competitor, official, and instructor. She trained with Charles Bosco in New Jersey and other fencing masters at the internationally recognized Salle Santelli of New York.

Nancy began fencing at age 10 and has competed nationally since 1979, achieving numerous top-eight finishes in both Foil and Epee’. Shortly after relocating to Maine in 1994, she established PFC an where fencers of all levels and ages can learn and practice fencing. She takes pride in providing this inclusive space for both beginners as well as competitive fencers to connect, have fun, grow, and succeed together.

Nancy is certified by USA Fencing Coaches Association and USA Fencing. She is Safe Sport certified and represents Maine in the Northeast division.
