About the Coach
Nancy Reynolds
Founder and head coach of Portland Fencing Center since 1998.
Coach Nancy has been in the sport of fencing as a competitor, official, and instructor for over 40 years. Having trained with Charles Bosco, who trained with fencing masters from the internationally recognized Salle Santelli of New York.
Fencing since age of 10, it has been a labor of love and a life long passion. She has been competing on a national level since 1979 earning numerous top eight finishes. Nancy’s passion and joy for fencing is shared with students of all ages.
Nancy is certified by USA Fencing Coaches Association, Safe Sport certified, and has held positions in the Northeast division and currently is representative for Maine.
