Summer Camps
Unleash the swashbuckler in you this summer!
Our camps are fun, great exercise and will be the highlight of a kid’s summer. The activities are challenging and we encourage good sportsmanship while learning to fence.
Our beginner camps are an introduction to basic fencing for kids with little to no experience. Summer camp beginners develop a solid foundation of skills, while experienced fencers fine tune their skill set.
Fencing Camp typically fills quickly, so register early. Every camper must register for a USA Fencing Trial membership (no cost), and include a copy when sending in your registration form.
The health and safety of our campers is our top priority. All of our coaches have met the Safe Sport requirements which include background screening and Safe Sport training.
Beginner Camp
Our half-day beginner summer camp is fun for everyone! Boost your self-confidence, learn proper footwork, blade work, and enjoy a week of fencing. Workouts are challenging, but we guarantee a fun time for all. This is a small window into what we offer year-round. Make friends, learn a lot, and be a part of a unique summer activity.
Lights, camera, action, the electronic gear is always a hit with the kids. Get ready to have fun!
PFC supplies all campers with fencing gear which is for individual use only.
Beginner campers should bring a snack, water bottle and indoor sneakers.
Sign-up is a three step process.
1) Payment
2) Camp Registration/Waiver. Please complete this form and submit to PFC upon payment.
3) USA Fencing Trial Membership. Please include a copy when sending in your registration form.
All of the above steps must be completed to reserve your space.
Summer Camps typically fill quickly so register early! Attend one or two weeks.
A full refund will be issued when notification is given prior to June 1. A 50% refund will be issued for cancellations received after June 1 but before June 30. Sorry, no refunds will be made after June 30. In addition, we do not issue refunds for camp time missed due to illness or other personal reasons.
Novice/Intermediate Camp
This camp is for PFC's Youth, Cadet and Junior fencers only. Fencers will strengthen their technique and improve through analyzed competitive fencing bouts. You will be challenged to think critically through numerous fencing bouts over the week. This summer camp is for those fencers interested in the betterment of their competitive performance and gaining more confidence as you head into the upcoming season. Attend one or two weeks!
All Ages: Open to Novice and Intermediate level fencers
